Become a Volunteer

The centre is always looking for volunteers to assist in helping with the operations of the day to day business activities. It’s a great way to get involved with helping the community. As a volunteer you will not only be an active member within the organisation but this will be also be the ideal opportunity for you to gain a valuable  experience to help further build your career.

We have a number of voluntary positions available, from Administration to a Handy Person. If interested in being a volunteer at the centre you can complete the online Volunteer Application Form, or if you prefer pop into the centre to pick up an application pack, our friendly staff will be more then happy to help.

I have been volunteering at the centre as an admin assistant. As part of my role I was responsible for undertaking various duties such as filing, photocopying, answering the telephone and updating the database. I enjoy interacting with the daily users and the staff are very helpful and supportive. Through volunteering I have widened my business skills and gained confidence in myself preparing me for future business roles.
